RIO FUTALEUFU

Earth River's trademark trip is Patagonia, Chile's Futaleufu, having
pioneered commercial rafting and multi-sport trips there since 1991. From our early days on the Futaleufu, our trips have evolved from an
intense, class 5 expedition, to a unique Patagonia multi-sport
experience suitable for anyone from 6 to 80 with a spirit for adventure.

No where has Earth River’s innovation been more apparent than on the
Futaleufu. The numerous safety techniques we invented in the early
1990s are now standard in the industry. In 1993 we were the first to
add a multi-sport dimension to a standard rafting trip. 6 years ago, in part due to the sometimes variable Patagonia weather, we introduced
the world’s first multi-lodge, multi-sport river expedition. These
trips have a 3 - 1 client to guide ratio and are limited to just 12
guests. The lodges are remote, comfortable and secluded on large
properties located on either the main river or tributary streams and
lakes.  Truly the “World’s Wildest, Most Comfortable River Trip”, this
unique journey combines world class rafting with mountain biking,
inflatable whitewater kayaking, hiking, stand-up paddle boarding,
horseback riding and canyoneering.
